Application recording
The process in the real application.
On Mercer’s rotated foundation drawing, measure physical components and keep their types separate. Follow slab boundaries and recesses, review wall bands and double-click traces, and join related segments with Merge lines. The recording covers all 33 saved measurements on S112. Export areas and lengths by class; bar schedules and steel weight still require reinforcement details.

Step by step
From drawing to quantities
- Use the calibrated foundation view and classify each physical component by type.
- Follow slab recesses; measure the elevator foundation and its inner slab separately, even where they overlap in plan.
- Double click to trace wall bands and beam routes, review each draft, and join related wall segments with Merge lines.
- Export areas in m² and lengths in m to your worksheet. Consult sections and reinforcement details to calculate bars, laps and waste.

Every measurement keeps its class and its place on the drawing.

This recording’s output
Quantities for your worksheet.
Selected quantities from S112, page 1. The MAT foundation and inner SOG slab are distinct components: their areas stay separate.
| Type | Quantity | Unit |
|---|---|---|
| SOG 5in · Slab | 101.06 | m² |
| MAT 24in · Foundation | 7.45 | m² |
| SOG 6in · Elevator slab | 2.56 | m² |
| GB1 · Foundation beam | 17.43 | m |
